GALLERY
On exhibit at the Gallery are a range of arts and crafts: ceramics, painting (oil, watercolour, acrylic), collages, photography and woodcraft including intricately cut hardwood bookmarks, combs and fans, and hafted stone adzes. The Tiapapata Art Centre has a large collection of ancient stone adzes. The photographs, taken by visiting photographer and videographer Denisa Maňásková, offer an intimate view of life in the islands.
CAFÉ
The Gallery Café is located in a unique natural environment within walking distance of the Bahá’í House of Worship where there are over 20 acres of land and gardens to enjoy in a walk before or after a visit to the cafe. Enjoy lunch, dinner or just a cup of good coffee or tea and be surrounded by beautiful nature and art. What also makes the place special are the many native birds you will see and hear, including the endangered ma'oma'o (giant forest eater) which gives a wide range of melodic calls.
