SAMOAN HARDWOOD COMBS

Samoan hardwood combs are expertly cut with intricate patterns from conservation-managed native timbers. These beautiful combs were once popular with the gentry of traditional Samoan society. Among the timber species used to make the combs are pau, ifilele, afa, fau, seasea and Samoan teak. Sizes vary in size with most being 55mm - 65mm at the widest point and 270mm - 300mm in length. Combs are for sale in the Gallery and can be shipped overseas with charges added for fumigation, a Phytosanitary Certificate and shipping.
